Dr. Jenn Harthan joined the GPLI as Executive Director in January 2025. She is a Professor at ICO and Chief of the Cornea and Contact Lens Center for Clinical Excellence at the Illinois Eye Institute. In her spare time, Dr. Harthan loves to spend time outdoors (winter is her favorite) and attend Chicago sporting events with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Tom Quinn joined the GPLI in January 2023. He is a great asset to the team and has brought with him a lot of fun, passion, and experience to create a truly dynamic leadership team. He has dedicated his career to meeting the needs of patients requiring specialty lens care, and he is excited to now be in a position to help others take advantage of the many benefits offered by two of the best tools we have at our disposal: GP and custom soft contact lenses.

Kim joined the GPLI in November 2023. She has experience in nonprofit work and has a background in graphic design. She also suffers from keratoconus and has enjoyed learning more about her condition as well as the eye care industry. She enjoys spending time with her husband, three boys, and two dogs.

Ursula has been a key contributor to the GPLI for several years, playing a vital role in coordinating special events and providing consultation on a range of educational resources. Her influence is unmistakable in flagship programs like the highly regarded GPLI Cornea and Contact Lens Residents Symposium and the GPLI Specialty Contact Lens Symposium. Thanks to her vision and dedication, these impactful programs continue to shape the careers of residents and emerging leaders in the field.
