What is the GPLI ECP Membership?

The GPLI Eye Care Professional Membership gives you access to premier resources to help you advance your specialty contact lens practice. Your membership also supports the ongoing efforts of the GP Lens Institute. Membership renews on a calendar year basis (January 1 – December 31).

Regular Member: $89/yr
Fellow in an Eye Care Organization: $75/yr

Free Printed Materials (US only)
The GPLI has several patient brochures and laminated cards pertaining to orthokeratology, multifocals, scleral lenses, GP lens care, myopia management, and GP clinical pearls. Members may order these at no charge for quantities up to 200 if shipped within the United States. Printed materials are complimentary to educational programs.

Coding and Billing Module
In this module, Dr. Clarke Newman includes updates on specialty contact lens coding and billing, reimbursement paradigms in myopia management, common codes, coding and billing FAQ, sample reimbursement letters, a brochure for third party providers, and common errors in billing and coding.

Staff Module
This comprehensive staff training resource includes videos on verification, office management, and pre-testing, over 25 staff-friendly webinars, and an 84-page guide on corneal and scleral GP, hybrid, and custom soft care and patient education.

Building Your Practice with GP Multifocals
This recently updated module has 17 separate resources for ECPs, staff, and patients, including narrated PowerPoints on lens selection, patient communication and fitting, videos, reading cards, and a fee calculator.

Archived Webinars
There are over 130 archived webinars from the experts in the field on all important topics pertaining to GP and custom soft lenses. Unrestricted access to the most recent webinar is allowed for non-members for the month following the presentation.

Free Quarterly COPE Approved Webinars
The GPLI will continue with monthly webinars, and members can receive free COPE CE credits for our February, April. August, and October webinars.

“The Advisor” Bi-Monthly Member Educational Journal
Receive a special, themed online journal – co-edited by respected authors and clinicians Drs. Melanie Frogozo and Jennifer Harthan – every other month, with a series of brief sourced clinical articles pertaining to the theme (i.e., scleral lenses, myopia management, etc.). Dr. Roxanna Potter also provides a “hot topic” article each issue.

Access to a Library of Specialty Contact Lens Presentations
Access to the entire library of recorded presentations from the most recent GPLI Cornea and Contact Lens Residents Symposium on all clinical topics pertaining to GP and custom soft lenses as well as public speaking and writing for publication.
