SPOTLIGHT ON GPLI RESOURCES: Staff Education
Our staff module has many educational resources including;
- A comprehensive “White Paper” educating staff as it pertains to training corneal GP, sclerals, hybrids, and custom soft lens wearing patients
- Staff training videos helping them to be able to address commonly asked questions, perform important pre-tests, understand how to handle the lenses, and the importance of follow-up care as presented by Advisory Board member Dr. Roxanna Potter.
- Videos pertaining to how to use the lensometer and radiuscope
- A number of staff-friendly webinars as provided in recent years as part of our monthly ECP educational series
- “Caring for Your GPs” downloadable educational brochure
- Dr. Katie Greiner’s excellent podcast for “GPLI Radio with Dr. Tom Quinn” on the topic of “Building a Specialty Contact Lens Practice with Staff Training at the Core”.
Look for the introduction of a revision in the staff training module in 2024 including a revised White Paper and the addition of staff training webinar that have served as NCLE training modules for WINK Productions.
